Family farms are specific people - Zuzka, Milan, Hedviga – who do their work with joy, who like plants they grow and animals they keep. We found them to be people possessing true quality who create real values.
Their current status lacks dignity. Many carry out their work in conflict with law since the law doesn’t count with family farms. Supporting these people could mean more healthy food, more work, strengthening of the local economy, greener agriculture and healthier environment.
It is not only about us. UN considers this cause to be important as well and it declared the 2014 an International Year of Family Farming.
The time is right. Let’s create this story together…
Family farms are necessary for the health of a country and its people. They support local economy, they are gentler to the environment, they create jobs, maintain local traditions and diversity and last but not least they are the source of good food and food security of a county.
